“Escándalo” is a portrait of Juriji der Klee, a transsexual drag muse.It is based on professional photographs by Ferrán Sánchez Castillo.I was very impressed and inspired by the pure expression and the white and magenta face of this drag muse. Without a wig, with exaggerated eyebrows and eyelashes, with extremely red and shiny lips, and with a necklace of precious stones that drip their beauty on her chest, I painted Juriji with the most extreme expression of astonishment I have ever seen.The color of her eyes is light gray, almost white. She looks like the face of a Geisha. Drag Queens can be whatever they want to be. We can also be whatever we want to be. It is all about taking the plunge.
